In order to improve the quality of the printing quality, aiming at the problems of the current, this paper studies the typical CMYKRGB7 color printing color model. Neugebauer printing color model can be divided into tristimulus model and spectral model in form [1]. After color subarea, if these two models are directly applied to multicolor separation, the accuracy of color separation is far from enough. A relatively effective way is to conduct cellular division for device independent color space and achieve higher accuracy through measuring more training samples.

Regard the color point at the top of subarea cells as characterized sample sets. Seven-color printing corresponds to 6 color subareas and every subarea has 8 primary colors, therefore there are 3072 (64×6×8) sample points in sample set. The manufacture and printing of characterized sample sets are similar to that of samples of Neugebauer primary colors. Through printing measurement, CIEXYZ tristimulus value data and spectral reflectance data of top point of cells at all color subareas can be obtained.
